Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • Booking will be confirmed only after receipt of the deposit and a signed booking form (if applicable).
  • Payment methods accepted: credit/debit cards, bank transfer, and/or online payment portals.
  • Full payment must be made no later than six (6) days before the tour departure date.

2. Pricing & Inclusions

  • All prices are quoted in PNG Kina and are subject to availability and change until full payment is received.
  • The tour package price includes accommodations, transportation, meals, guide services, entry fees, and items expressly stated in the itinerary or invoice.
  • Exclusions (such as personal expenses, visa fees, travel insurance, meals not specified, optional activities, and/or gratuities) are the responsibility of the client, unless specified.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

(a) By the Client

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation fees apply and refunds of any balance paid (if applicable) are subject to the following cancellation terms:
    • More than 60 days before departure: 10% of total cost
    • 30–59 days before departure: 25% of total cost
    • 15–29 days before departure: 50% of total cost
    • Less than 14 days: No refund
  • No refund will be given for unused services or early departures.
(b) By the Operator
  • The operator reserves the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient participants, force majeure, or unforeseen operational circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund of payments made.

4. Changes by the Client

  • Requests for changes to bookings must be made in writing.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

5. Changes by the Operator

  • The operator reserves the right to make itinerary adjustments due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.
  • If a major change is made, clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative or a refund.

6. Travel Insurance

  • Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal liability, and loss of belongings is strongly recommended for all participants.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure adequate coverage for necessary insurance, including other unforeseen events.

7. Health & Fitness Requirements

  • Participants must ensure they are in a suitable physical and mental condition to travel and participate in the tour.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. The operator reserves the right to decline participation where health or fitness may compromise safety or enjoyment.

8. Visas & Travel Documents

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining and holding valid passports, visas, permits, and any other travel documentation required for the tour.
  • The operator accepts no responsibility for losses or disruptions arising from failure to obtain such documents, including that no refunds will be provided.

9. Liability

  • Participation in the tour is at the client’s own risk.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for:
    • Injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, expense, or irregularity resulting from the client’s own actions or omissions; or
    • Acts or omissions of third-party service providers; or
    • Events beyond the operator’s reasonable control, including force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc).
  • The operator’s liability is limited to the cost of the tour package.
  • Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by the operator’s negligence.

10. Conduct

  • Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and follow the local laws and customs, including the lawful instructions of the guides and operators at all times.
  • The operator reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour whose behaviour is disruptive, unlawful, or endangers the safety or enjoyment of others, without refund.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Papua New Guinea.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Papua New Guinea.
