Port Moresby Short Tours

1. PNG Trekking Adventure   Book Now

PNG Trekking Adventure offers short trips to visit World War 2 Historical sites around Port Moresby. One is the Bomana War Cemetery and the other is a four wheel drive trip out of town to Owers Corner. This is a full day tour to Owers Corner which is part of the famous Kokoda Trek. The half-day Bomana Tour include trip to the Parliament House and Port Moresby Nature Park. The tour includes enjoying the breathtaking sights of Port Moresby's countryside.

1. Port Moresby Nature Park   - Book Now

Port Moresby Nature Park is Papua New Guinea's leading botanical and native zoological parks and gardens, showcasing the best of the nation's flora and fauna in a safe and picturesque setting. Over 150 animals are on display including multiple species of tree kangaroos, cassowaries, birds of paradise, parrots, pigeons, reptiles, wallabies and more. The Nature Park is perfect for those that won't get the opportunity to explore all of PNG's vast regions. The Park features Port Moresby city's only rainforest tract with many established gardens and native plant species including orchids.

Facilities include a well-appointed and popular café and souvenir shop. Picnic areas are available, complete with large grounds, 'haus-wins' and barbecue areas.

Papua New Guinea lies within the "Coral Triangle" which is famous for having some of the highest marine diversity on the planet. It has been noted that Port Moresby has the best capital city diving in the region. Trans Niugini Tours is one of Papua New Guinea's most experienced Tour Operator. It has been in business since 1976 and runs extensive tours throughout Papua New Guinea from the Coastal Areas to the Highlands. 2. PNG Frontier Adventures   - Book Now

PNG Frontier Adventures was founded and self-funded back in 1999 and is operated from Wewak (capital of East Sepik Province) by Chris Karis, an indigenous Papua New Guinean from the Sepik River, supported by Susan Baker (English) who is the administration manager. Together, over many years, they have formed a strong bi-cultural link to benefit and assist both the overseas visitor and the Sepik River people through sustainable eco-tourism.
