The 2018 Bougainville Chocolate Festival takes place in Buka, Autonomous Region of Bougainville, September 21-22.

Cocoa farmers and producers of Bougainville meet in Buka to display their prized cocoa pods and beans. Chocolate-makers also make an appearance, exhibiting their products for chocolate fans, tasters and buyers. The winners of the 2017 Chocolate Academy Awards: Jasper & Myrtle’s Nunu Chocolates will also be there. National favorites: Paradise Foods Queen Emma Bougainville Chocolate, also feature at the festival.

Other exciting activities to see and experience at the festival include chocolate-making process demonstrations, cultural performances, arts & crafts, live bands and fun games for the kids.
